St. Charles Daycare Ministry was established in September 1993 in the area of the St. Charles School building which previously housed the Sisters of Providence. The Daycare ministry is one of the many ministries of St. Charles Borromeo Church, which strives to provide quality care and education for young children in a Christian Atmosphere. The St. Charles Board of Education, comprised of nine elected members of the St. Charles parish, preside over the Daycare and its operations. The Daycare operates Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m to 5:30 p.m., twelve months a year. It serves approximately fifty children ages six weeks to five years and employs approximately twenty staff members. In 2008, the Daycare was welcomed as an official member of St. Charles School, and has become a part of the school’s continuum of education. |
